Cohort-based · Full-stack

Full-stack, built end to end.

Go from your first JavaScript line to a deployable full-stack app. Backend first — Node, databases, auth, real integrations — then frontend, in the same sandboxed environments the rest of Kodeshala runs in.

What the full-stack cohort covers

JavaScript foundations

Variables, control flow, functions, arrays, objects, async — the parts of JS you'll actually use, in the order you need them.

Node backends

Build real HTTP APIs with Express: routing, middleware, validation, error handling, testing. Nothing hand-waved.

Databases & auth

SQL, schema design, Prisma, indexes and the N+1 trap. Password hashing, cookies, sessions, JWTs — done properly.

Ship a real app

The cohort ends with a full-stack capstone you build and deploy — frontend, API, database, auth, deployment. Not a to-do list clone.

How the cohort runs

Small on purpose

Cohorts stay small enough that every question gets a real answer. No lecture-and-forget.

In-browser environments

Node, databases, terminals — all spun up in the browser. You spend zero time on setup and all of it on the actual work.

Tested every step

Hidden tests grade each exercise, so you always know whether the thing you just built actually works.
